What You’ll Do

The Senior Director of Training and Learning Excellence (T&LE) will be responsible for creating an innovative architecture to support the continuous learning needs of our scientifically driven, patient-focused organization. This individual is a dynamic leader with a track record of success building and leading teams across several functional areas within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.

This individual is an experienced learning specialist with a deep understanding of fundamental adult learning principles; possesses curriculum development, project management skills, and extensive knowledge of healthcare legal/compliance/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Establish an “industry-best” training department dedicated to BridgeBio organizational learning objectives, customized to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviors specific to affiliate customer and business needs.
  • Oversee learning needs assessment in collaboration with the business owners (BridgeBio Affiliate Partners) to clearly understand and define the gaps in skills and knowledge.
  • Lead the definition and implementation of the most effective learning mix (i.e., live/virtual instructor-led, e-learning, blended learning, social learning) for the agreed target audience with best practices and principles of instructional design.
  • Lead the creation and standardization of Launch Excellence models for new products/indications from early planning to post-launch sustainment
  • Oversee the development and facilitation of engaging and interactive workshops on disease states, products, marketplaces, and contextual selling skills for all types of audiences
  • Ensure the strategic utilization of resources by overseeing the identification and selection of vendors as well as existing relationships and projects relating to training (SOW and PO generation and vendor management)
  • Participate in the annual business planning process and lead resource allocation and budgeting.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the training curriculum to strategically support our growing organization, building clinical product and market knowledge, as well as the communication skills required to effectively engage health care professionals (HCPs) and execute brand strategies
  • Develop and establish training initiatives that build deep clinical expertise and translate strategy into actionable behaviors
  • Proactively partner with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Development to identify knowledge gaps and work with functional leaders to address them
  • Collaborates with corporate/global learning and development partners to identify synergies and leverage resources collectively
  • Ensure training initiatives are effective and compliant with regulatory guidelines through collaboration with functional partners, including Medical, Regulatory, and Legal/Compliance

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 2-3x per week in our San Francisco and Palo Alto Office.

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • BA/BS required advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial or medical functions within the Biotech/Pharma industry, field sales experience is a plus

$245,000—$275,000 USD

The Talent Assessment and Development Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving learning and talent development initiatives that support organizational goals. Instructional Design & Training Development

Work Environment

  • This position requires understanding and accepting that as a vital driver and coordinator in the Talent Assesment and Development Department, there can be days or occasionally weeks of training that require being on site, coordinating and hosting face to face trainings, assesments and similar tasks. The coordinator is expected to fully understand in what pace, frequency and learning needs will in person training be required and as an owner of these initiatives and tasks the Coordinator must be present and set the example.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Learning strategy & design

  • Partner with Product Managers and Nexthink subject matter experts to identify learning needs, define learning objectives, and design user-centric learning journeys aligned with product strategy and business goals.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create structured, effective, and engaging learning experiences for diverse user personas.

Content development & delivery

As Digital Learning Specialist, you build training paths for customers, partners and sales teams and ensure that all learning formats support a fast and confident use of the T-Cloud Public. You work closely with product teams, journey owners and the offshore development team to create content that reflects real workflows and platform behaviour. The onboarding solution is based on ServiceNow CSM, so you need to describe customer steps, forms and service flows in a clear and accurate way. Your work enables users to understand the platform and move through key processes with confidence.

Key accountabilities

  • Create learning paths for customers, partners and sales teams

  • Produce tutorials, guides, videos, labs and product explanations for T-Cloud Public services

  • Describe ServiceNow CSM onboarding steps and create content that explains forms, cases and customer-facing flows
